Since 2004, the Indio Police Officers Association (IPOA) has proudly partnered with the Indio Police Officers John Rose Memorial, Widows Emergency and Scholarship Fund, deeply committed to its ongoing mission. The memorial, established to support officers and their families during times of need, continues to uphold its dedication through events like the annual golf tournament. This event serves as a vital fundraiser, enabling the memorial to provide critical assistance to officers injured or killed in the line of duty, as well as offering educational scholarships to officers and their children, totaling over $10,000 in awards thus far.
